Welcome to the new website for Liberty Kebabish, a Indian and Lahore restaurant and takeaway based in Kentish Town in North London, but also serving the areas of Arch Way, High Gate (N6),  Hamstead, Belsize Park (NW3), NW5, N19 and the surrounding area. Liberty Kebabish Indian restaurant serving Kentish Town, Arch Way, High Gate,  Hamstead and Belsize Park was originally established in 1987 as Indian Lancer and has now been re-opened as Liberty Kebabish in March 2011. We prepare healthy Indian food inspired by tradition - the authentic Indian food dishes found in the kitchens of Punjab. All our meat and chicken for Indian food is sourced locally and not frozen.

The word Kebabish originated from Lahore - the first restaurant named Kebabish was started in the early 70's in Liberty Market - a locality in the outskirts of the city of Lahore. Interestingly, this name has now spread all over the UK for restaurant serving Asian dishes, including our own popular restaurant serving High Gate, Arch Way, Hamstead, Belsize Park and Kentish Town.

Here at Liberty Kebabish we bring you the exotic dishes from Punjab which are distinguishable and unique. Punjab, the region of North Western India and Eastern Pakistan had been the gateway of the Indian Subcontinent for centuries for the invaders from Greece, Central Asia and Afghanistan Punjab cuisine has diverse ranges of dishes ranging from meat to pure vegetarian, and now you can enjoy them in High Gate, Arch Way, Hamstead, Belsize Park and Kentish Town from our Indian restaurtant.
